Mariana Malaver Montenegro

Administrative Coordinator

Mariana grew up in Colombia where she earned a college degree in agricultural management, which is also where her interest in environmental education began. She has a degree in animal science from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where she deepened her study of wildlife. She has worked for the last six years in EPI’s Costa Rica program, using her many years of experience in marine turtle conservation, experience with international volunteers, and knowledge of environmental education. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her family, scrapbooking, and other craft projects!
