Sylviane Jaume Schinkel
Mexico Program CoordinatorSylviane, who was born in Mexico City, is a Marine Biologist who has been involved for more than seven years in whale research in the Gulf of California. She is now our Mexico Program Coordinator, after collaborating as Campus Coordinator participating in educational activities and logistics at EPI’s campus in La Paz from 2007-2008 and as a research partner in the 2006 and 2007 Whale Ecology Program. Sylviane holds a master’s degree with a feeding ecology study of Fin whales in the Gulf and has worked as a teacher and naturalist, combining her passion to be outdoors with whales with opportunities to share this information with students and tourists.
