Sofía is from San José, Costa Rica; even though she grew up in the city she has always loved the forest and nature. She studied Biology at the University of Costa Rica. Since the beginning of her career she has been interested in amphibians and reptiles, but she has always loved snorkeling, being in the ocean and observing marine life. She is convinced that is necessary to protect the environment, that’s why she really enjoys working with EPI students!
