Alejandra Vovides
Mexico InstructorAlejandra is a Mexican biologist who grew in close interaction with nature. She has studied the conduct of the Mexican wolf and developed an educational workshop for the conservation of small Mexican primates. However her passion for the ocean led her to work on the conservation of coastal wetlands. Her particular interests are the reforestation and functional restoration processes of mangrove forests, one of the most productive ecosystems of the world. In EPI she fully enjoys teaching conservation ecology and discovering new philosophies and cultures.
