Marisol Rueda Flores
Galapagos InstructorI was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. I studied Biology and graduated from Morelos State University (UAEM). The ocean and the conservation of its species, especially whales and dolphins, have been my main area of interest. Therefore I completed my M.Sc. in Marine Resource Management at CICIMAR in La Paz, Baja California Sur. I have worked and studied blue whales, which are incredibly big and beautiful, in the Gulf of California.
I have worked for EPI since 2007, participating in the Mexico and Costa Rica programs. Having the opportunity to go to Galapagos, every biologist’s dream, in 2010 has me extremely excited. In addition I will be able to interact and experience a rich and colorful culture such as the Ecuatorian. Being able to learn and share information with and from other people encourages me every day.
My hobbies include: dancing especially belly dance and salsa, scuba diving, traveling and photography! Be prepared for wildlife conservation and a lot of fun!
