Baja and the Sea of Cortez

Explore the heart of the Sea of Cortez aboard a comfortable yacht, and experience for yourself the majesty of the earth’s largest creatures.

You will cruise the rugged Baja peninsula coastline between La Paz and Loreto, in search of the great whales. The relaxed atmosphere and pace will give you time for unparalleled wildlife observation, photography, and learning about the diversity of species in the Sea of Cortez. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding sea and desert landscape on the yacht Don Jose and relax under the stars of the Mexican sky.

On this trip, YOU will be the student, learning first hand about ecology and international conservation efforts. You will also meet with local students and teachers who have been ignited by their experience with EPI and are working to protect the habitats they call home.
