Turtle Database
While EPI students are at the Pacuare Nature Reserve, they collect
monitoring data on individual sea turtles. These data are sent to
an international database and used by scientists around the world.
All of our student-collected data is accessible through this page.
If you are an alumni or a future student of EPI you can
see:
• How many turtles your school worked with this or any given year
• How many turtles came to nest last year
• If the turtles you worked with returned to the reserve another
time
If you have adopted a turtle, you can see:
• What years she has nested
• How many times she has nested
• How many eggs she has laid
This is the product of the student’s hard work and late nights.
