Eco Tours for Adults and Families:  Explore. Collaborate. Protect.

EPI programs are not just for students – we offer families and adults special access to some of the world’s most incredible wildlife and ecosystems, with the rare opportunity to meet with professional researchers and local youth. Through collaboration and hands-on action, you leave each of these places better than you found them.

Join us for an unforgettable trip that also helps save endangered species and protect fragile habitats!

2012 Tours:
-Walk in Charles Darwin’s footsteps this spring during our Galapagos Islands adventure.

-Watch whales surface in the Sea of Cortez off the coast of Baja, Mexico

-Organize your own eco-tour at our partner sites in Costa Rica.

EPI staff will provide special insights about the ecology and culture of these biodiversity hotspots. You’ll also meet locals who are working with EPI to conserve these wonderful places. Beyond experiencing the trip of a lifetime, proceeds from these trips will help support local youth to participate in our programs: 10% of each trip is tax-deductible.

This is EPI’s initial offering of a whale-watching excursion to the San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja, Mexico

You will visit a secluded lagoon where gray whales migrate to calve, getting up close to these majestic mammals, and as the grays are the friendliest of whales, you will get to experience what it feels like to touch a whale.

We look forward to sharing these awe-inspiring parts of the world with you!

“The Galapagos Islands were even more magical than we had hoped, with new adventures every day. Where else can you share a public space with sea lions? I will treasure forever the miracle of blue footed boobies as they spear into the water.”
— Ellen Newberg, 2010 Galapagos Eco Tour
