EPI Alumni Network
Congratulations in taking the next step in being an active conservation leader! By joining EPI’s Alumni Network, we will connect you with current news and conservation issues, ways to take action, and career and educational opportunities in science and conservation to help you get a step up.
How to Sign Up:
Send us an email with your name, which EPI course(s) you were on and the year.
When you join the network, we encourage you to take the following steps to join EPI’s efforts in engaging youth in conservation and protecting threatened species and places:
• Register yourself, friends, and family with Safeway, which donates a percentage of sales from registered shoppers.
• Designate EPI as your charity when you use Goodsearch.com and Goodshop.com
• Connect with EPI through Facebook and Twitter
• Join EPI’s Cause
Why join the Network?
You will get updates on the latest conservation news and stories, as well as insights into what’s going on in EPI. You will also receive news about internships, jobs, scholarships, and educational opportunities – from monitoring sea turtles to restoring trails in Montana – to advance your career goals.
This is also a place for you to share your ideas, get help with launching your own conservation project, and stay connected with EPI participants around the world.
Make a Commitment to the Earth
Here are some other projects you can get involved in to connect more people with conservation and the world’s amazing creatures and places, and take action to protect them.
• Pay it forward: raise scholarship funds for under-served students
• Share your experience with parents or friends through an EPI Adult and Family Trip, or come back on another EPI program yourself!
• Volunteer
• On your birthday or during holidays, consider making a scholarship gift, or sponsor a turtle
• Join EPI’s Youth Conservation Club of monthly donors: just $5/month will fund research equipment for turtle patrols in Costa Rica
• Apply for EPI’s Alumni Awards, and launch your own conservation project, with help from EPI
