Andres’ nickname is “El Mudo,” or “The Mute.”
But after developing a passion for conservation and science, Andres can no longer keep quiet.
An active participant in all of EPI’s workshops and events, Andres travels more than an hour just to get to the EPI campus.
Curious by nature, Andres learned to speak up to pass on what he has learned to his friends, and contacted the Director of the local Whale Museum to become a volunteer. Andres now leads a summer camp for kids at the Museum, and helps EPI teach local youth about conservation.
