Donor Spotlight – Ann Perkins

I believe in the dream of Ecology Project International: giving young people the knowledge – and the power – to reverse the negative impact people have had on our world. We all hear about endangered species, but it seems too huge for a single person to make a difference. EPI has brought the energy and enthusiasm of youth to the challenges scientists are dealing with in the field of environmental science, and together they work miracles!

To support this dream, I’ve encouraged friends to join me at EPI program sites. Together we’ve witnessed EPI’s multi-national students working together with scientists for all our future. Through EPI students discover that their potential is enormous. They are inspired to become scientists, poets, writers and activists; being involved with them has been a gift.

A longtime supporter of EPI, Ann Perkins served on EPI’s board of directors for 4 years and has brought many friends to visit and support our projects. She is a new grandmother and an active volunteer.
