Science Education
for a Brighter Future

At Ecology Project International (EPI), we engage local communities in youth development, leadership, and habitat conservation, and we run world-class, science-focused travel programs for students and teachers. Together, we're building a brighter, more sustainable future.

Student-based group travel programs featuring hands-on research in Costa Rica, Belize, Galapagos Islands, Mexico, and Yellowstone.

Ecology Project International is a nonprofit.

Our mission is to inspire youth with nature and empower them with science, fostering tomorrow's leaders. We envision a diverse movement building communities that cherish and restore the ecosystems that sustain them.

Applications

The EPI Teacher Fellowship program was created in 2013 to create a supportive network for our teachers to connect, exchange ideas, and experience the power of experiential learning at our program sites.

Formal and informal educators are welcome to apply through September 1st!

"EPI helped me realize the direct impact of science. When working with scientists on my trips, we would always find ways to give back to the communities and made sure that they were always involved."
