Science Education

for a Brighter Future

At Ecology Project International (EPI), we engage local communities in youth development, leadership, and habitat conservation, and we run world-class, science-focused travel programs for students and teachers. Together, we're building a brighter, more sustainable future.

Engaging local students in leadership activities, habitat conservation, and research efforts.

Student-based group travel programs featuring hands-on research in Costa Rica, Belize, Galapagos Islands, Mexico, and Yellowstone.

Join EPI's growing cohort of educators who strive to think outside of the classroom.

Ecology Project International is a nonprofit.

Our mission is to inspire and empower the world’s youth through immersive experiences with nature and science. We envision environmentally literate communities creating a vibrant, sustainable future.

"EPI helped me realize the direct impact of science. When working with scientists on my trips, we would always find ways to give back to the communities and made sure that they were always involved."

—  Claire, Costa Rica Alumna

We call our monthly donors Conservation All Stars. Why? Because an all star team is full of the most exceptional and engaged members of a community. EPI's sustaining supporters preserve vulnerable research sites and protect the wildlife that call these places home.

Monthly gifts go further to ensure continued conservation and research efforts at each of our field sites. Will you join EPI's Conservation All Stars?
