Professional development opportunties for science teachers don't have to be boring! And they don't have to cost a lot of money. In fact, we've found 13 amazing professional develpment programs, teacher trainings, and more - through the United States and Central America, doing everything from snorkel counts of fish in Belize's coral reefs to stargazing in the mountains of Texas. All with funding support for science teachers and an eye to help you reach your teaching goals, stay inspired, and go home ready to inspire your students.

According to Denver police, in 2012 there were 6,678 hit and run accidents. Of those, 12 people were killed. And of those 12, one was our dear friend Laura McDermott. On September 23, 2012 the world lost a beautiful and inspiring woman. Laura’s zest for life inspired us to turn our loss into a celebration of her life. In 2013, we hosted our first annual Memorial Corn-hole Tournament. Laura’s fun loving nature and love for travel led us to an obvious collaboration between our event and Ecology Project International.

But what made it particularly special were Mola Mola Eco-club members Ibrahi Rodriguez and Erick Ojeda.
