Génesis Andrea Rodríguez Porras

Costa Rica Instructor

Meet Génesis Andrea Rodríguez Porras, a dedicated field instructor for Ecology Project International's Costa Rica Program. Originally from the coastal district of Cóbano in the province of Puntarenas, Génesis currently resides in downtown Heredia, near the new Heredia Hospital. She holds an intermediate English certificate from INA and is currently pursuing a degree in environmental and water resources management at UCR.

Her passion for environmental care has led her to pursue her dream of working for an NGO, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and grow at EPI.Génesis has already made a significant impact on the environment through her involvement in various projects such as the CAM project in high school, where she helped establish composting sites, grew plants, and installed a rainwater tank for a community NGO focused on water conservation in Santa Teresa de Cóbano. She has also volunteered her time to give environmental education to children in schools in Grecia de Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Génesis is a kind and communicative person who is always eager to learn new things and grow both spiritually and intellectually. She is thrilled to be part of the EPI team, which values the happiness and well-being of its people, and is committed to making a positive impact on the environment. With her strong work ethic and passion for environmental care, Génesis is sure to make a significant contribution to EPI's mission.
