Yellowstone Program Manager
Rachel grew up in Washington, D.C. Her strong belief in the power of learning while immersed in a place-based experience brought her to EPI in 2016, after a six-year career as an instructor for the Voyageur Outward Bound School in northern Minnesota. She holds a Master's degree from the University of Vermont Field Naturalist and Ecological Planning Program and studied environmental and conservation issues from an interdisciplinary perspective as an undergraduate at Harvard University. Rachel enjoys backpacking, downhill and cross-country skiing, reading lengthy novels, sleeping under the stars, and staring at tiny plants.
