
Selene Vargara Segura

Selene is ‘paceña’ from birth, and ‘comundeña’ by adoption. After completing her bachelor degree in Spanish literature, and her masters in education from Tec de Monterrey, she returned to the southern lands of Baja California to contribute in response to much of what this land has given her. She specializes in the use of written language, editing, and education. Besides that, she’s been involved in the study of social sciences thanks to a PhD from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur.
Her professional career has a core in the design of educational projects with socio-cultural impact, as well as the search for a positive incidence in the community through the connection between different stakeholders and sectors within society. In addition, she is a writer and illustrator, Tae Kwon Do practitioner (red ribbon), mother and wife, happy to have a home in this land of dreams.
