Marielle Jacome Robles

Originally from La Paz, Marielle's passion for marine life led her to study marine biology, focusing on species adaptation to climate change. Early in her career, she facilitated climate adaptation workshops with fishing communities in the Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve in Baja California Sur. She later served as a Protected Species Observer aboard survey vessels in the North Atlantic Ocean, working to protect whales, sea turtles, and other marine life from ship traffic and survey operations.

Since becoming a México certified nature guide in 2019, she has extensive experience leading whale watching, whale shark snorkeling, and multi-day camping expeditions across key marine protected areas, including Archipiélago Espíritu Santo, Cabo Pulmo, and Loreto.

She also collaborates with local service providers in La Paz to promote sustainable ecotourism. Resilience and connection to nature drive her work to inspire ocean conservation. Now, Marielle is thrilled to join EPI, where she looks forward to empowering young generations by connecting knowledge with nature to inspire action for a healthier planet, advancing EPI's mission through meaningful engagement.
