Share your passion for eco-action
Do you have an idea for a project that will address climate change, or help a climate-threatened species, community, or ecosystem?
As an EPI alum, you are eligible to apply for money to initiate or participate in a conservation-related project that builds awareness or takes action to address climate change.
Like what? You could attend a workshop or class, develop a service project to help a climate-threatened species, community, or ecosystem, create a research project, or organize a festival to learn about or draw attention to local climate impacts and opportunities. Or come up with your own! We love creativity and passion. Past winners have organized beach clean-ups, started eco-clubs, painted murals, built bee boxes, and worked to ban plastic straws!
Think creatively about how you can contribute to conservation, then share your idea with us through the application process. Create a step-by-step plan to achieve your conservation project and get busy! To apply, you'll need to answer specific questions about your project like: Why is it needed, who will be involved, how much time will it take, what actions will you take, and how much will it cost?

Comparte tu pasión por la conservación
¿Tienes una idea para un proyecto que abordará el cambio climático o ayudará a mitigar sus efectos en una especie, comunidad o ecosistema?
Como exalumno de EPI, eres elegible para solicitar dinero para iniciar o participar en un proyecto relacionado con la conservación que cree conciencia o tome medidas para enfrentar el cambio climático.
¿Como qué? Por ejemplo, puedes asistir a un taller o a una conferencia, desarrollar un proyecto para ayudar a una especie, comunidad o ecosistema amenazado por el cambio climático, crear un proyecto de investigación u organizar un festival sobre los impactos del clima local. ¡O crea tu propia idea! Amamos la creatividad y la pasión. ¡Los ganadores anteriores organizaron limpiezas de playa, empezaron clubes ecológicos, pintaron murales, construyeron hoteles para abejas y trabajaron para prohibir los popotes (pajillas)!
Piensa de forma creativa en cómo puedes contribuir a la conservación y, a continuación, comparte tu idea con nosotros a través del proceso de solicitud. Crea un plan paso a paso para llevar a cabo tu proyecto de conservación y ¡ponte manos a la obra! Para presentar tu solicitud, tendrás que responder a preguntas concretas sobre tu proyecto como: ¿Por qué es necesario, quién participará, cuánto tiempo llevará, qué acciones emprenderá y cuánto costará?
