Katie graduated in 2022 from Lawrence University and double majored in Geoscience and Environmental Studies. Prior to EPI, Katie has worked as an assistant director and program coordinator for YMCA Camp Orkila. Katie has also worked as a deckhand aboard a variety of Tall Ships and has over 8000 nautical miles of ocean travel under her belt. She is from Portland, Oregon and enjoys outdoor recreation in the PNW – particularly camping, hiking, and sailing. In her time off, she loves to camp on the Oregon Coast with her dog, watercolor, and hunt for agates with friends.
