Oscar Gómez
México Instructor
Oscar is a dedicated marine biologist whose journey began in Guadalajara, where he was born and raised.
Driven by a lifelong "call of the sea," he moved to La Paz at the age of 18 to turn his childhood dream into a reality. In 2024, Oscar officially graduated with a degree in Marine Biology, a field of study that allowed him to cultivate a specialized fascination for jellyfish and baleen whales.
When he isn’t exploring the wonders of the ocean, Oscar is likely found embracing his other great passion: the outdoors. An avid camper since the age of five, he transitioned from family trips to professional camp counseling at sixteen, fueled by his love for connecting with new people and the natural world at the same time. His life in La Paz is balanced by simple pleasures, whether he is swimming, going for walks, enjoying an ice cream, or spending an evening playing board games and visiting the cinema
