Gordon Clark

Field Experience Coordinator

Gordon grew up on a small dairy farm in Johnson, a rural town in northern Vermont, where he spent his childhood caring for cows, goats, and the occasional horse. He graduated from Colorado College with BAs in Environmental Studies and English Literature, bringing together a strong background in writing, environmental literacy, and team leadership.

Before joining EPI, Gordon worked as a Backcountry Caretaker for The Green Mountain Club, where he maintained trails and promoted conservation in Vermont’s Green Mountains, and later gained experience in hospitality and arboriculture. Now based in Missoula, Montana, he’s excited to help connect students and communities with meaningful conservation experiences.

In his free time, Gordon enjoys cooking, playing music, skateboarding, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.
