Pamela Root
Pamela Root spent many years working abroad in the international financial services industry. In her travels to over 35 countries and Antarctica, she observed ecosystems experiencing degradation and biodiversity loss as a result of anthropomorphic activities. Wanting to be a part of the solution, she retired and pursued an advanced degree in Environmental Law, concentrating on climate change and energy.
As a board member, Pamela Root welcomes the opportunity to participate in EPI’s remarkable journey and mission to educate, engage local communities and preserve threatened wildlife and their ecosystems. She brings to EPI extensive experience in strategy and change, managing compliance, legal and other non-financial risks and enhancing governance, ethical and sustainability frameworks.
