Romina Márquez Orihuela
Mexico Instructor
Romina has been fascinated by marine life since childhood. This curiosity became her calling during a summer diving course where she met marine biologists who showed her how to turn passion into profession. This path led her to study Marine Biology at UABCS, specializing in marine invertebrates and reef fish.
Newly joined to EPI in 2025, Romina mixes her scientific training with her love for outdoor activities nurtured through diving, tennis, and volleyball. Her educational approach crystallized during an EPI course: "I thought it was amazing to have a job where they teach love for nature!" she recalls enthusiastically about learning from Joel.
Raised with the family principle that "all life deserves respect and care," Romina strives to embody this philosophy in every workshop. "If I can inspire even one student to care more about the environment, that's already a big achievement," she says.
