Heidi Boggs

Internal Comptroller

Heidi Boggs is a lifelong resident of Missoula, Montana, with more than twenty years of leadership experience at the University of Montana directing personnel and fiscal affairs. For the past fourteen years, her work has focused primarily on grants and restricted funds management, supporting research initiatives, developing strong financial systems, and ensuring compliance across complex funding portfolios. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2020.

Throughout her career, Heidi has been drawn to mission-driven organizations that create meaningful impact. She is excited to join EPI because its mission of connecting youth education, conservation, research, and community engagement closely aligns with the values that have guided both her personal and professional life. Her expertise includes financial oversight, grant administration, compliance, budgeting, reporting, process improvement, and building collaborative relationships that support long-term organizational success.

In her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and dogs while taking advantage of Montana’s outdoor opportunities. She loves hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, gardening, traveling, and exploring new places, and especially enjoys visiting Yellowstone National Park each year. Above all, she values time with her three adult children and supporting them as they pursue their goals and aspirations.
