Meaghan Loos-Becht

Originally from South Dakota, Meaghan double-majored in Ecology & Evolution and Spanish at USD. Studying abroad in the Galicia province of Spain allowed her the chance to connect to marine life and she's carried that passion for field work throughout her career. She's participated in field studies across the midwest and is excited to help EPI participants find that same passion for hands-on science in the conservation hotspots where EPI operates.

Outside of work, you can find her outside hiking, camping, and floating Montana's rivers wishing octopus lived inland!
