ITINERARY
EPI offers a Galápagos educator experience designed to immerse teachers in hands-on conservation science and inquiry-driven learning.
Traveling to Santa Cruz and Isabela, with a brief connection through Quito, educators work alongside National Park rangers to monitor wild giant tortoises and collect real field data, while also contributing to microplastics research and exploring marine ecosystems. Throughout the course, participants connect these field experiences to classroom practice, developing tools and strategies to bring inquiry, service learning, and NGSS-aligned instruction to life.
Participants return equipped to translate field research and discovery into meaningful, real-world learning experiences for their students.
