Felipe is a biologist currently pursuing a master’s degree. For the past eight years, he has worked as a research assistant at the Laboratory for Research on Dangerous Animals at the Instituto Clodomiro Picado. His work has taken him across Costa Rica and Colombia to conduct research on snakes, scorpions, anurans, and various topics in environmental science. He has also served as a teaching assistant for several courses at the School of Biology at the University of Costa Rica.

Felipe is excited to join EPI, as he strongly believes that education focused on ecology and conservation is essential to creating meaningful change—especially when working with young students. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and love for nature with the next generation. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, listening to music, watching series, spending time with friends and family, and being in nature observing wildlife and landscapes.
