Esteban is passionate about the study of recreation through intercultural and educational experiences. His professional experience has been driven by his passion to be part of interdisciplinary teams aimed at designing and organizing logistics for education, environmental interpretation, and sustainability programs led by institutions such as Oregon State University, the National Biodiversity Institute (INBio) and the University of Costa Rica. where he is currently persuing a Masters in Environmental Management with emphasis on Recreation Systems Design.
He is currently working on the Environmental Education Program of the Pacuare Reserve and on the search for options to enhance the positive impact of this protected area on the surrounding communities at the economic, social and cultural level.
