Gage Poore
Admin & Finance Coordinator
Born and raised amidst the stunning landscapes of Helena, Montana, and now a proud resident of Missoula for over two decades, Gage Poore's journey has been intertwined with the natural world from the very beginning. Growing up, Montana was his playground, where he found solace and wonder in observing the diverse creatures that inhabit its wilderness.
After earning a degree in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Montana, Gage followed his passion for bicycles, spending eleven fulfilling years at the Adventure Cycling Association. There, he not only pursued his love for cycling but also honed his administrative and financial skills.
Driven by a deep-rooted love for nature and a desire to make a tangible difference, Gage found his calling at EPI. His enthusiasm for the organization's mission is palpable, as he eagerly collaborates with like-minded individuals to promote environmental education and conservation.
Outside of the office, you'll often find Gage immersed in his garden, meticulously tending to his native plants and reveling in the diverse pollinators they attract. When he's not communing with nature, he's likely exploring scenic bike trails or whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen.
For Gage, compassion isn't just a sentiment—it's a guiding principle. He believes wholeheartedly in the power of education and science to drive positive change in species and habitat conservation. Joining EPI allows him to witness firsthand the transformative impact of compassion in action.
