Morgan Hinson

Yellowstone Program Assistant

Morgan Hinson is a Yellowstone Program Assistant at Ecology Project International (EPI), bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for environmental education. Growing up in beautiful Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Superior, Morgan developed a deep appreciation for nature and a desire to protect our planet. With a B.A. in Environmental Studies, specializing in Environmental Education, Morgan possesses a strong academic background in the field.

Her commitment to hands-on learning led her to work in various experiential education contexts. Morgan spent several years with Outward Bound, where she skillfully taught diverse groups ranging from gap-year semesters to middle school courses, fostering a love for adventure and discovery in her students.

Now back in the West, Morgan is thrilled to be part of EPI's team, supporting science-based education in the magnificent Yellowstone ecosystem. Her role as a Program Assistant allows her to blend her expertise in environmental education with their passion for ecological conservation. Morgan's dedication to empowering the next generation of environmental stewards shines through her work, ensuring that students have the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on our planet.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Morgan finds joy in a variety of hobbies. She is an avid knitter, finding solace and creativity in the gentle art of knitting. When not immersed in yarn and needles, Morgan embarks on expeditionary canoeing adventures, exploring new waters and connecting with the natural world. Additionally, she has a deep appreciation for culinary delights and enjoys indulging in the pleasures of great food.

Morgan's blend of educational expertise, love for the environment, and diverse interests make her a valuable asset to the Ecology Project International team, inspiring both students and colleagues alike.
