From trainings and workshops to the EPI Teacher Fellowship, we offer opportunities for educator professional development every year and at several of our program sites. Reignite your passion for teaching, gain valuable knowledge and tools to take back to your classroom, and become part of our growing educator network through our unique professional development opportunities.
Each spring, EPI sends qualified educators to our field sites to experience our programs, our educational model, and our passion for conservation firsthand. Want to join us in the field as an EPI Fellow?
During this field-based course you will learn teaching strategies and tools developed by Ecology Project International (EPI) for creating and delivering authentic science lessons aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
On these 4-day Baja Teacher Workshops, you’ll travel to one of the great sanctuaries for marine life, the Gulf of California. The world’s aquarium, as Cousteau once called it, is the perfect locale to observe the wonders of the sea and deepen your knowledge of field science and the NGSS.
Ecology Project International is happy to offer academic credit for educators and empower them to become stronger teachers through experience in the field. Through its educational partners, EPI offers credit for participation in the EPI Teacher Fellowships, its NGSS Teacher Trainings, and for travel with students on all of EPI's Field Ecology Programs.
