Laura Dinerman

Online Curriculum & Professional Development Supervisor

Laura is a native of Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay region who grew up advocating for the protections needed to Save the Bay, and spent over 30 years as a classroom science teacher. She prioritizes conservation work and outreach, and helps foster stewardship of the environment in her students and the community through experiential learning, environmental advocacy, and community service. In her current role at EPI, she works to extend her outreach on environmental science and inspire teachers to integrate deep science, experiential learning, and technology into their lessons. Her favorite part of teaching is being in nature with her students and understanding the world through their points of view.
